A James Bond-style sports car stolen from a Wigan house was tracked down with a gadget worthy of Q.
The silver Aston Martin Vantage V8 was stolen from a house in Wrightington but the thieves were unaware it was fitted with a tracking device.
Police were able to track the stolen car, which was taken from Moss Lane last Wednesday evening, with the help of the transmitter and a satellite orbiting 25,000 miles above the earth.
The tracker allowed the £92,000 car to be traced to Tanhouse.
Information was beamed through space at a speed of around 18,000mph and back to Skelmersdale police station, leading officers to the the spot 10 miles away in Elmridge where thieves had stashed the luxury vehicle.
