Adult film star Nikki Jayne - Wigan lass Samantha Heywood - has taken on her toughest role yet ... debating sex and morality with a celebrity Christian pastor.
Nikki, 23, was flown into the heart of the American Bible-belt region in Dallas, Texas, as part of a television debate with Ed Young, a famous American Baptist minister.

Mr Young, 47, is the son of another famous pastor, Homer Edwin Young, and founder and head pastor of the Fellowship Church, a so-called mega-church and one of the largest and fastest growing churches in America.

A reported 20,000 worshippers regularly visit the multi-site church, which follows the modern "seeker church" trend, meaning it tailors its services and programmes to attract non-church goers.

Nikki's agent Derek Hay, of La Direct Models, said: "Things went very well. Nikki was very confident, assured and, although not as articulate as a professional speaker like the minister Ed Young, she handled herself very well. She made several important and valid points, most pointedly on the issue of pre-marital sex."

Samantha has made a big splash across the Pond since becoming the first ever English girl to sign a contract with the adult entertainment giant Vivid Entertainment.

The former St John Fisher High School pupil, from Beech Hill, recently appeared on Entertainment Tonight, one of the biggest entertainment programmes in America, attracting millions of viewers every night.
